Hifz School (Qur’an Memorization Program)

Objective

To aid students in memorizing all the Qur’an permanently using effective memorization techniques, the program is not intended just for teaching how to read the Quran.

Program Hours

The program is four days a week – Monday through Thursday – with one session each day.
Time: 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM.

Admission Requirements

  • Students to be enrolled in the program must be 8-15 years old and shall be able to read any part of the Quran independently.
  • Students will be screened by Hifz Program teachers and only the best performing students (during screening) will be accepted for enrollment.
  • Students must be enrolled in regular schooling (public or private) and should have good academic and behavioral performance records.

Parents Requirements

  • Parents shall make sure that students are brought to the class at least 10min before the class starts and arrive 10 min before the class ends to pick up the students.
  • Students shall not be dropped or left outside the classrooms.

Parents must play a significant role for the success of their children in this program. The whole family’s daily, weekly, monthly and even yearly activities must be planned based on the schedule of the Hifz program students.

Remember that this program is throughout the year except the holidays for only a few weeks as described in the Program calendar. This program will be very family oriented where parents must be actively involved in running the program.

Teacher Requirements

There will be one main teacher for a class of 20-25 students. The teacher will be a certified Hafiz (except under the circumstances when a Hafiz is not available). Program Tuition Fees: The tuition is $150/student/month. One-time registration fee of $50/student/year must be paid during registration.
